Mr. Baas in Harkema has built 3 wintergardens of approximately 120 meters long that meet the label of Better-Life-1-STAR of the animal protection organization. We built the first part of wintergarten 1 on the existing property. The second part on our prefab L walls. The first part is narrower than the second part. The existing feed weigher canopy has been partially adapted between the first and second parts. The roof of Wintergarten 2 consists of a first and a second part. The first part is built with a gable roof and a valley gutter and the second part with a sloping roof that is placed just below the gutter of the stable. The stable has been extended in the past. The extended/rear part is wider and higher than the front part. The side facade of the entire Wintergarten runs in one line. A real piece of craftsmanship…. The base next to Wintergarten 3 was a lot lower. “Special” extra high L walls have been used here. To gain access to Wintergarten 2, the existing technical room that was located to the left of the stable was demolished. For these reasons, a new technical room was built for the stable.
