At Boekhorst in Beerta we have built two Wintergartens for broilers that meet the better life 1 star of the Animal Protection. One Wintergarten of 8.00 meters x 68.00 meters (BXL) built between two stables with a prefab valley gutter on the left/right between the roof of the Wintergarten and the stable. And one Wintergarten of 7.50 x 100.00 (BXL) with a prefab valley gutter between the roof of the Wintergarten and the stable. An existing heat exchanger that is located next to the stable was moved +/- 40 cm to the side, and the Wintergarten was then built over it. We have reconnected the air connections by means of sandwich panels. We made the ceilings of both Wintergarten from aluminum sheets with 15 glass wool blankets and corrugated sheets on the roof. The entire roof thus complies with fire class A.
